1.7. Start a Browser

Now you have the operating system up and running. Next, you start a web browser by double-clicking the icon. That's a command for the operating system to load the browser app from hard drive to memory, the same way as the OS was loaded when you started your device.

When the browser is loaded, processor starts running the browser program. It means that the processor reads program instructions from memory, and executes those instructions. For you it shows that on the screen browser is up and running.
